Sri Vishnu Sahasra Naamam

Sahasraarchihi sapthajihvaa sapthaidhaa sapthavaahanaha ।
Amoorthiranaghoachinthyo bhayakrudhbhayanaashanaha ।। 89 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil

ஸஹஸ்ரார்சிஹி ஸப்தஜிஹ்வா ஸப்தைதா ஸப்தவாஹனஹ​​​​ ।
அமூர்திரனகோஅசிந்த்யோ பயக்ருத்பயநாஷனஹ​​​ ।। ௮௯।।

Translation

826. सहस्रार्चिः - Sahasraarchihi:

One with innumerable Archis or rays.

827. सप्तजिह्वा - Sapthajihvaa:

The Lord in his manifestation as Fire is conceived as having seven tongues of flame.

828. सप्तैधा - Sapthaidhaa:

The Lord who is of the nature of fire has seven Edhas or forms of brilliance.

829. सप्तवाहनः - Sapthavaahanaha:

The Lord in the form of Surya or sun has seven horses as his vehicles or mounts.

830. अमूर्तिः - Amoorthihi:

He does not have a Form.

831. अनघः - Anaghaha:

One who is without sins or without sorrow.

832. अचिन्त्यः - Achinthyaha:

One who is not determinable by any criteria of knowledge,being Himself the witnessing Self-certifying all knowledge.

833. भयकृत् - Bhayakruth:

One who generates fear in those who go along the evil path.Or one who cuts at the root of all fear.

834. भयनाशनः - Bhayanaashanaha:

One who destroys the fears of the virtuous.
