Sri Vishnu Sahasra Naamam

Mahaakramo mahaakarmaa mahaathejaa mahoragaha ।
Mahaakrathurmahaayajvaa mahaayajnyo mahaahavihi ।। 72 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil

மஹாக்ரமோ மஹாகர்மா மஹாதேஜா மஹோரகஹ​​ ।
மஹாக்ரதுர்மஹாயஜ்வா மஹாயக்ஞோ மஹாஹவிஹி​​​​​​​ ।। ௭௨ ।।

Translation

671. महाक्रमः - Mahaakramaha :

One with enormous strides. May Vishnu with enormous strides bestow on us happiness.

672. महाकर्मा - Mahaakarmaa:

One who is performing great works like the creation of the world.

673. महातेजाः - Mahaathejaahaa :

He from whose brilliance, sun and other luminaries derive their brilliance. Or one who is endowed with the brilliance of various excellences.

674. महोरगः - Mahoragaha:

He is also the great serpent.

675. महाक्रतुः - Mahaakrathuhu:

He is the great Kratu or sacrifice.

676. महायज्वा - Mahaayajvaa:

One who is great and performs sacrifices for the good of the world.

677. महायज्ञः - Mahaayajnaha:

He who is the great sacrifice.

678. महाहविः - Mahaahavihi :

The whole universe conceived as Brahman and offered as sacrificial offering (Havis)into the fire of the Self, which is Brahman.
