Sri Vishnu Sahasra Naamam

Bhagavaan bhagahaa nandhee vanamaalee halaayudaha ।
Aadhithyo jyothiraadhithyaha sahishnurgathisaththamaha ।। 60 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil

பகவான் பகஹா நந்தீ வனமாலீ ஹலாயுதஹ​ ।
ஆதித்யோ ஜ்யோதிராதித்யஹ​ ஸஹிஷ்ணுர்கதிஸத்தமஹ​​​ ।।௬0 ।।

Translation

558. भगवान् - Bhagavaan:

The origin, dissolution, the bondage and salvation of creatures,knowledge,ignorance-one who knows all these is Bhagavaan.

559. भगहा - Bhagahaa:

One who withdraws the Bhagas, beginning with lordliness,into Himself at the time of dissolution.

560. आनन्दी - Anandhee :

One whose nature is Anandha (bliss).

561. वनमाली - Vanamaalee:

One who wears the floral wreath (Vanamala) called Vaijayanti,which consists of the categories of five elements.

562. हलायुधः - Halaayudaha :

One who in His incarnation as Balabhadra had Hala or ploughshare as His weapon.

563. आदित्यः - Aadhithyaha :

One who was born of Aditi in His incarnation as Vamana.

564. ज्योतिरादित्यः - Jyothiraadhithyaha :

One who dwells in the brilliance of the sun's orb.

565. सहिष्णुः - Sahishnuhu:

One who puts up with the contraries like heat and cold.

566. गतिसत्तमः - Gathisaththamaha:

One who is the ultimate resort and support of all, and the greatest of all beings.
