गभस्तिनेमिस्सत्त्वस्थस्सिंहो भूतमहेश्वरः ।
आदिदेवो महादेवो देवेशो देवभ्रुद्गुरुः ।। ५२ ।।

Transliteration - English


Gabhasthinemissatthvasthassimho bhoothamaheshwaraha ।
Aadhidhevo mahaadevo devesho devabhrudguruhu ।। 52 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


கபஸ்திநேமிஸ்ஸத்வஸ்தஸ்ஸிம்ஹோ பூதமஹேஷ்வரஹ​ ।
ஆதிதேவோ மஹாதேவொ தேவேஷோ தேவப்ருத்குருஹு​ ।। ௫௨ ।

Translation


486. गभस्तिनेमिः - Gabhasthinemihi :

He who dwells in the middle of rays of the sun.

487. सत्त्वस्थः - Saththvasthaha :

One who dwells specially in satthvaguna, which is luminous by nature.

488. सिंहः - Simhaha :

One who has irresistible power like a lion.

489. भूतमहेश्वरः - Bhoothamaheshwaraha:

The Supreme Lord of all beings.

490. आदिदेवः - Aadhidhevaha:

He who is the first of all beings.

491. महादेवः - Mahaadhevaha :

One whose greatness consists in His Supreme selfknowledge.

492. देवेशः - Dheveshaha:

One who is the Lord of all Devas, being the most important among them.

493. देवभ्रुद्गुरुः - Dhevabhrudhguruhu :

Indra who governs the Devas is Dhevabhrut.The Lord is even that Indra's controller (Guru).
