Sri Vishnu Sahasra Naamam

Dharmagubdharmakrudhdharmee sadhaksharamasathksharam ।
Avijnaathaa sahasraamshuhu vidhaathaa kruthalakshanaha ।। 51 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil

தர்மகுப்தர்மக்ருத்தர்மீ ஸதக்ஷரமஸத்க்ஷரம் ।
அவிக்ஞாதா ஸஹஸ்ராம்ஷுஹு விதாதா க்ருதலக்ஷணஹ​ ।। ௫௧ ।

Translation

475. धर्मगुप् - Dharmagup :

One who protects Dharma.

476. धर्मकृत् - Dharmakruth :

Though above Dharma and Adharma, He performs Dharma in order to keep up the traditions in respect of it.

477. धर्मी - Dharmee :

One who upholds Dharma.

478. सत् - Sath:

The Parabrahman who is of the nature of truth.

479. अक्षरं - Aksharam:

The changeless one.

480. असत् - Asath :

As the Aparabrahma has manifested as the world He is called Asath (not having reality).

481. क्षरं - Ksharam:

All beings subjected to change.

482. अविज्ञाता - Avijnaathaa :

He does not take cognisance of flaws of his devotees.

483. सहस्रांशुः - Sahasraamshuhu:

One with numerous rays, that is, the Sun.

484. विधाता - Vidhaathaa:

One who is the unique support of all agencies like Anantha who bears the whole universe.

485. कृतलक्षणः - Kruthalakshanaha:

One who is of the nature of consciousness.
