सुव्रतः सुमुखः सूक्ष्मः सुघोषः सुखदः सुहृत् ।
मनोहरो जितक्रोधो वीरबाहुर्विदारणः ।। ४९ ।।

Transliteration - English


Suvrathaha sumukhaha sookshmaha sughoshaha sukhadhaha suhruth ।
Manoharo jithakrodho veerabaahurvidhaaranaha ।। 49 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


ஸுவ்ரதஹ​ ஸுமுகஹ​ ஸூக்ஷ்மஹ​ ஸுகோஷஹ​ ஸுகதஹ​ ஸுஹ்ருத்​ ।
மநோஹரோ ஜிதக்ரோதோ வீரபாஹுர்விதாரணஹ​ ।। ௪௯ ।

Translation


455. सुव्रतः - Suvrathaha :

One who has taken the magnanimous vow to save all refuge-seekers.

456. सुमुखः - Sumukhaha:

One with a pleasant face.

457. सूक्ष्मः - Sookshmaha :

One who is subtle because He is without any gross causes like sound etc.

458. सुघोषः - Sughoshaha:

One whose auspicious sound is the Veda.

459. सुखदः - Sukhadhaha :

One who gives happiness to good people.

460. सुहृत् - Suhruth:

One who helps without looking for any return.

461. मनोहरः - Manoharaha:

One who attracts the mind by His incomparable blissful nature.

462. जितक्रोधः - Jithakrodhaha :

One who has overcome anger.

463. वीरबाहुः - Veerabaahuhu:

One whose arms are capable of heroic deeds as demonstrated in his destruction of Asuras for establishing Vedic Dharma.

464. विदारणः - Vidhaaranaha:

One who destroys those who live contrary to Dharma.
