वृषाही वृषभो विष्णुः वृषपर्वा वृषोदरः ।
वर्धनो वर्धमानश्च विविक्तः श्रुतिसागरः।। २८।।

Transliteration - English


Vrushaahee vrushabho vishnuhu vrushaparvaa vrushodharaha ।
Vardhano vardhamaanashcha vivikthaha shruthisaagaraha ।। 28 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


வ்ருஷாஹீ வ்ருஷபோ விஷ்ணுஹு வ்ருஷபர்வா வ்ருஷோதரஹ​ ।
வர்தநோ வர்தமாநஸ்ச​ விவிக்தஹ​ ஷ்ருதிஸாகரஹ​ ।। ௨௮ ।।

Translation


256. वृषाही - Vrushaahee:

Vrusha means dharma or merit.

257. वृषभः - Vrushabhaha:

One who showers on the devotees all that they pray for.

258. विष्णुः - Vishnuhu :

One who pervades everything.

259. वृषपर्वा - Vrushaparvaa:

One who has given as steps (Parvas), observances of the nature of Dharma, to those who want to attain the supreme state.

260. वृषोदरः - Vrushodharaha:

One whose abdomen showers offspring.

261. वर्धनः - Vardhanaha :

One who increases the ecstasy of His devotees.

262. वर्धमानः - Vardhamaanaha :

One who multiplies in the form of the universe.

263. विविक्तः - Vivikthaha :

One who is untouched and unaffected.

264. श्रुतिसागरः - Shruthisaagaraha:

One to whom all the shruthi or Vedic words and sentences flow.
