प्रमाणं प्राणनिलयः प्राणधृत्प्राणजीवनः ।
तत्त्वं तत्त्वविदेकात्मा जन्ममृत्युजरातिगः ।। १०३।।

Transliteration - English


Pramaanam praananilayaha praanadhruthpraanajeevanaha ।
Thatthvam thathvavidekaathmaa janmamruthyujaraathigaha ।। 103 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


ப்ரமாணம் ப்ராணநிலயஹ​ ப்ராணத்ருத்ப்ராணஜீவனஹ​ ​।
தத்வம் தத்வவிதேகாத்மா ஜன்மம்ருத்யுஜராதிகஹ​ ।। ௱௩।।

Translation


959. प्रमाणं - Pramaanam:

One who is self-certifying, as He is Pure Consciousness.

960. प्राणनिलयः - Praananilayaha :

The home or dissolving ground of the Pranas.

961. प्राणधृत् - Praanadhruth :

The nourisher of life.

962. प्राण​जीवनः - Praanajeevanaha :

He who keeps alive human beings with Vayus (airs)known as Prana, Apana etc.

963. तत्त्वं - Thatthvam:

Means Brahman, just as words like Amruta, Satya, Paramartha,etc.

964. तत्तववित् - Thaththvavith:

One who knowns His own true nature.

965. एकात्मा - Ekaathmaa:

One who is the sole being and the spirit (Aathmaa) in all.

966. जन्ममृत्युजरातिगः - Janmamruthyujaraathigaha :

One who subsists without being subject to the six kinds of transformations - being born, existing,temporarily growing, transforming,decaying and dying.
