।। திருமூலர் திருமந்திரம் - இரண்டாம் தந்திரம் - 4. தக்கன் வேள்வி - பாடல் 4 ( திருமந்திரத்தில் பாடல் 356 )- பொருள் ।।
தக்கன் செய்த யாகத்தில் அவிர்பாகத்தைப் பரிசாகப் பெற்ற பிரம்மன் திருமால் மற்றும் அனைத்து தேவர்களும் இறைவனே தாமாக இருக்கும் காரணத்தை அறிந்து தமது அறியாமையால் பிழை செய்துவிட்டோமே என்று வருந்தி அவனது திருவருளை வேண்டி நின்றனர். அக்கினிதேவனும் தமக்குள் தீயாகவும் ஒளியாகவும் வெப்பமாகவும் என்னாளும் இருப்பவன் இறைவனே என்பதை உணர்ந்து அவனது திருவருளை வேண்டி நின்றான். அவர்களின் வேண்டுதலை ஏற்ற இறைவனும் அனைவரின் பிழைகளை மன்னித்து ஒளிமயமாகி எங்கும் வியாபித்து இருந்தான்.
Translation
।। Thirumoolar Thirumandhiram - Irandaam Thandhiram - 4. Dhakkan Velvi - Song 4 ( Song 356 in Thirumandhiram ) - Meaning ।।
" In that Sacrificial Yaaga performed by Dakkan Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and all other DemiGods who accepted his sacrificial offerings realized that the Supreme God is you and regretted for commiting mistake due to ignorance and prayed for His grace. God of Fire Agni too realized that it is Lord Shiva who exists within him as fire, light and the heat produced by it and prayed for His grace. Lord Shiva then accepted their prayer and forgave them and existed as the Supreme effulgence that is spread all over. "

உயிர்கள் அறியாமையால் செய்யும் தவறுகளிலும் அணுவாய் கலந்திருக்கும் இறைவன் உயிர்கள் தன் தவறை உணரும் போது அவர்களை மன்னித்து அருள்செய்வான்.
