வேறு - விலக்ஷணமாக; இசைந்த - ஸம்ஹார கார்யத்துக்குப் பொருந்தியிருக்கும்; செக்கர் - கோபத்தால் சிவந்த; மேனி - சரீரத்தையுடையவனாய்; நீறு - பஸ்மத்தை; அணிந்த - தரித்தவனாய்; புன் - சிக்குப் பிடித்து மெலிந்த; சடை - ஜடையையுடையவனாய் ;

கீறு - கலாமாத்ரமான; திங்கள் - சந்த்ரனை; வைத்தவன் - அந்த ஜடையிலே தரித்தவனான ருத்ரன் ; கை - கையிலே; வைத்த - ஏந்திய; வன் - விடவொண்ணாத; கபால்மிசை - கபாலத்திலே;

ஊறு - ஊறா நின்றுள்ள ; செம் - சிவந்த; குருதியால் - ரத்தத்தாலே; நிறைத்த - பூரித்த; காரணந்தனை - காரணத்தை;

ஏறு - எருதுகளை; சென்று - மேல்விழுந்து; அடர்த்த - கொன்ற; ஈச - ஸர்வேஸ்வரனே; பேசு - அருளிச் செய்யவேணும்; கூசமின்றியே - கூச்சம் சிறிதுமின்றியே;




Translation


Thirumazhisai Aazhwar Thiruchchandha Viruththam - Song 42 ( Song 793 in Prabandham ) - Meaning

With an appearance not beautiful and apt for performing destruction with a body that is reddish due to anger which is smeared with sacred ash all over and matted tresses

and who is adorning the crescent moon who is God of passion, is Lord Rudhra and he holds in his hand beheaded skull of the fifth head of Brahma which refuses to leave his hand

with blood oozing and you filled it in order to help Rudhra get rid of it.

Without any hesitation proclaim that you are the saviour of all the Gods too and the Primordial God who is unscathed even while fighting the seven bulls and killing them to prove your valour to Nappinai Devi.
