கல்வி செல்வத்தைப் பெற்றவர்களான உபாத்தியாயரின் கீழேயிருந்து அழகிய வேதங்களை ஓதியிருக்கிற மூத்த மகனான இராமனையும் அவனது தம்பியான லக்ஷ்மணனையும் பேச்சின் இனிமையிற் கொஞ்சுகிற கிளி போன்றவளும்
மின்னலும் ஈடாக மாட்டாத நுண்ணிய இடையையும் மென்மையான தன்மையையும் உடையவளுமான என் மருமகளாகிய சீதையையும் காட்டுக்குப் போகச் செய்து
உனது அன்புக்கு இடமான உன் மகனான பரதன் மேற் பழியுண்டாகும் படி செய்து புத்ர விரஹத்தால் என்னையும் தூரத்திலுள்ள மேலுலகத்திற்குச் செலுத்துதலினால்
நீ என்ன பயனடைந்தாய்? கைகேயியே! இவ்வளவு செய்து விட்டு நீ பெரிய இவ்வுலகத்தில் சுகமாக வாழ்கின்றாயே!( என்றபடியாக தசரதர் ஸ்ரீ ராமருக்குத் தான் அளித்த அநீதியை எண்ணி புலம்புகிறார். )

Sri Kulasekarap Perumaal - Perumaal Thirumozhi - Onbadhaam Thirumozhi - Praying your mighty divine feet - Song 8 - Meaning

The one who has acquired his education of Vedhas from the enriched scholars is our eldest son Sri Rama who along with his younger brother Lakshmana and the one who possesses sweet speech as that of a parrot
and hips that are more slender than the lightning streaks and who is of a very soft nature, my daughter-in-law Seetha, whom you have made to go to the forest and
by doing so you have fetched a bad name to your affectionate son Bharatha who will be blamed for this act of yours as well as because of anguish over separation from my son you have sent me to the far off world of heaven
and doing all this what benefit did you get? Oh Kaikeyi! After doing all this you are leading a happy life in this big world! (Thus laments Dasaratha at the injustice he meted to his son Shri Raama!)
