ஆனந்தத்தை விளைக்கும் நிலாவையுடைய பூர்ண சந்திரனை ஒத்த திருமுகமும் ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணனே! திண்ணிதான திருக்கைகளும் திரு மார்பும் வலிமை பொருந்திய திருத்தோள்களும்
தளிரையும் மலரையுமுடைத்தாய்க் கறுத்த திருக்குழற்கற்றையும் அஷ்டமீ சந்திரன் போன்ற திருநெற்றியும் விசாலமான தாமரைப் போன்ற திருக்கண்களும் ஆகிய இவை அழகு பெற்று விளங்கும்படியான
யௌவனாவஸ்தையின் போக்யதையை இப்போது என்னுடைய் கண்ணாலே நான் அனுபவியா நின்றாலும் இவள் என்னுடைய தாய் என்று நினைப்பதற்குத் தகுதியான
அளவில்லாத குழந்தைப்பருவத்திலுண்டான ஆனந்தத்தை அனுபவிக்கபெறாமல் இழந்த பாவியான என்னுடைய உயிரானது தரித்து நிற்க வழியில்லையே! (என்று வேதனையுருகிறாள் தேவகி!)

Sri Kulasekarap Perumaal - Perumaal Thirumozhi - Seventh Thirumozhi - Long juice filled Sugarcane - Song 4 - Meaning

O Krishna, one with divine face as beautiful as full moon that gives happiness to all, with mighty divine hands, divine chest and strong valourous divine shoulders
having beautiful tresses of divine hair adorned with young leaves and flowers, with forehead as broad as the eighth day of lunar fortnight, divine eyes that is as broad as beautiful lotus flower with all beautiful aspects
that befits your youthful phase of life and I (Devaki) is unfortunate to have not been able to witness all these through my eyes but even worse is the fact that you were unable to think me as your mother at this
beautiful childhood phase of yours by which I would have experienced immeaurable happiness and I am sinned to have lost all those fortunes and there is no way for my soul to depart peacefully, thus lamented Devaki!
