புள்ளின்வாய் பிளந்துபுட் கொடிப்பிடித்த பின்னரும்
புள்ளையூர்தி யாதலால தென்கொல்மின்கொள் நேமியாய்!
புள்ளின்மெய்ப் பகைக்கடல் கிடத்தல்காத லித்ததே. 19

திருமழிசை ஆழ்வார் அருளிச்செய்த திருச்சந்த விருத்தம் - பாடல் 19 ( பிரபந்தத்தில் பாடல் 770) - பொருள்

புள்ளது ஆகி — ஹம்ஸமாய் வந்து; வேதம் நான்கும் — நான்கு வேதங்களையும்; ஓதினாய் — உபதேசித்தாய்; அது அன்றியும் — அதுவுமல்லாமல்;

புள்ளின் வாய் — பகாசூரனுடைய வாயை; பிளந்து — பிளந்து; புட்கொடி — கருடனை கொடியாக; பிடித்த பின்னரும் — பிடித்ததோடன்றியில் சிறப்புடைய;

புள்ளை — அத்திருவடியை ( அக்கருடனை ); ஊர்தி — வாகனமாக்கிக் கொண்டாய்; ஆதலால் — இப்படி இயற்கையான ரக்ஷகனாகையாலே ; அது என்கொல் — அது என்ன ஆச்சர்யமோ! மின் கொள் நேமியாய் — மின்னும் திருவாழியாழ்வானை ( சக்கரத்தை ) உடையவனே!;

புள்ளின் — பெரிய திருவடிக்கு ( கருடனின் ); மெய்ப் பகைக் கடல் — இயற்கையான பகைவனாய் இருக்கும் பாம்பினத்தைச் சேர்ந்த திருவனந்தாழ்வான் மேல்; கிடத்தல் காதலித்ததே — விரும்பிக் கணவளர்ந்தருளுகிற அது என்னோ?;

As the divine Swan you appeared and preached the four Vedhaas and not only that
You killed the Asura who came in the form of a bird Bagaasura by splitting open his mouth, You made Garuda the eagle as your flag and that special King of birds
got the greatness to be called as PeriyaThiruvadi - The one with great feet and you made him as your divine vehicle, Thus you became a natural saviour of all and what is more surprising is that you who possess the shining Paanchajanyam as your Chakra
is resting over divine Thiruananthaazhwaan who belong to the Snake family (Adiseshan ) and is a natural enemy of Garuda ( Eagle ) spread over willingly as your bed. What a surprise!
