குரக்கு - வானரங்களுடைய; இனம் - கூட்டத்தாலான; படை - சேனையை; கொடு - கொண்டு; குரை - முழக்கத்தையுடைய; கடலின் - ஸாகரத்தினுடைய; மீது - மேலே; போய் - திருவணையிட்டுப்போய்

அரக்கர் - ராவணாதி ராக்ஷஸர்கள்; அங்கு - அங்கே; அரங்க - பயந்தொளியும்படி; வெம் - வெம்மைமிக்க; சரம் - திருச்சரங்களை; துரந்த - விட்ட; ஆதி - பெருவீரன்; நீ - நீயே!

இரக்க - யாசித்துச்செல்ல ; மண் - பூமியை; கொடுத்தவற்கு - கொடுத்த மஹாபலிக்கு; இரக்கம் - இருக்க இடம்; ஒன்றும் இன்றியே - ஒரு அடியும் இல்லாத படி;

பரக்க - திருவடியை பரவலாக; வைத்து அளந்து கொண்ட; பற்ப - தாமரைப்போலேயிருக்கிற; பாதன் - திருவடிகளையுடையவன்; அல்லையே - அன்றோ?

With the help of army of monkeys you crossed the roaring ocean by constructing a bridge with stones

and you made the Asura army of Ravana run in fear seeing your shining rain of arrows aimed at them and you are the mighty and valourous person!

When you went to beg for charity to Mahabali, who agreed to give 3 feet of land to you, you measured all the three worlds by taking your enormous Thrivikrama form making no place for his existence

as each foot measured the earth, the upper world and the under worlds and are you not the one who is called Padmanabhan with a divine feet like Lotus flower?
